Fourteen different players scored as the Syracuse women’s basketball team easily defeated Wagner 78-29 Sunday at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The Orange is now 4-0. Wagner dropped to 1-3.

The Seahawks took a 2-0 lead 18 seconds into the game on a layup by Keana Foz. The Orange then went on a 14-0 run over the next 7:42 and turned the game into a laugher.
Laila Phelia led the Orange with 15 points on a perfect shooting night ― 4-for-4 from the field, including a pair of 3-pointers, and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line. Sophie Burrows added 11 points for SU.
Syracuse coach Felisha Legette-Jack used her entire bench, with 14 of SU’s 15 players scoring.
