Srinagar, Nov 16: To prevent misuse of agricultural chemicals and ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, Police conducted comprehensive inspection drives of fertilizer and chemical shops in Ganderbal and Awantipora.

The surprise checkings were carried out by teams from various Police Stations under the supervision of senior officers. The inspection aimed to verify stock records, sale registers, licenses, storage conditions, and adherence to safety protocols in order to curb any possibility of illegal diversion or misuse of fertilizers and chemicals for unlawful activities.
