FRANKFORT, Ky. —
Kentucky has officially gone fully digital with search warrants.
State officials announced that the eSearch Warrant system, which allows police to request and judges to authorize or deny warrants electronically, is now live across all 120 counties.
The Administrative Office of the Courts and Kentucky State Police partnered together for the project and finished the rollout at the end of October.
“This is a significant milestone for the justice community,” said Administrative Office of the Courts director Zach Ramsey. “The Judicial Branch is proud to be part of bringing more security, efficiency, control, and accountability to the search warrant process.
