Josh Jacobs is scheduled to undergo further testing Monday on the knee injury he suffered during Sunday’s 27-20 win over the New York Giants, but the Green Bay Packers running back is thought to have avoided potential season-ending damage.
Whether Jacobs will be able to play in next Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field is unclear, but if he is sidelined, the belief is that he will be back at some point during the seven-game stretch run.
“I think anytime a player — especially of his magnitude — but anytime a player doesn’t finish a game, you’re always concerned about the welfare of them,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said after the game.
