Nagpur, Nov 16 (PTI) A 26-year-old man was arrested for allegedly strangling his 19-year-old wife after doubting her fidelity in Nagpur, police said on Sunday.

The accused, Sunil Narayan Yaduvanshi, returned home drunk around 2 am and found his wife talking on the phone.

An argument followed, during which he strangled her. Although the family first claimed it was an accidental death, the post-mortem confirmed strangulation, an official said. PTI COR NSK (This story has not been edited by News18 staff and is published from a syndicated news agency feed - PTI )
