WEST LAFAYETTE – Purdue had five players score at least 14 points and three of them notch double-doubles on the way to a 97-79 win over Akron, an elite mid-major opponent, Sunday night at Mackey Arena.
Trey Kaufman-Renn was the Boilermakers' top scorer and rebounder with 17 points on 7-for-10 shooting and 15 rebounds as his team improved to 4-0.
