Amy Schumer has spoken out after deleting all old photos of herself from social media, revealing the real reason behind her drastic decision.

On Thursday, the actress and comedian shared a series of new pictures showing off her slim figure in a strapless red Maison Valentino dress.

However, all posts prior to these photos — revealing her body transformation — had been removed from her account.

The move sparked speculation Schumer intended to erase any images taken before her recent weight loss but she has insisted that wasn’t the case.

Shortly after posting the red-dress photos, she followed up in true Schumer fashion by posting a pic of herself wearing joke sunglasses and a lengthy caption explaining her decision.
