There’s a new character on season 3 of “Tracker,” and fans think there’s something shady about her.

Melanie “Mel” Day, played by Cassady McClincy Zhang , was introduced during episode 3 of season 2, which aired on Sunday, Nov. 2. Reenie (Fiona Rene) hired Mel as her new assistant, and some fans were suspicious of Mel’s motives right away.

During her interview, Mel admitted she was interested in Reenie’s work with Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), a professional “rewardist” who uses his tracking skills to assist law enforcement and private citizens in exchange for reward money.

Mel also revealed that she and Colter share an aversion to bureaucracy. The reason for her distrust in the system? Her mother’s tragic death.
