Following the NDA’s historic victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, the process of forming a new government has officially commenced. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has submitted his resignation to Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. Earlier, the final cabinet meeting was held, during which the proposal to dissolve the current Assembly was approved.
Nitish Kumar is set to take oath as Bihar Chief Minister for the 10th time on November 20 at Gandhi Maidan. The ministerial lineup will see an almost equal representation from the BJP and JDU, with 16 ministers each. The LJP (R) will have two ministers, while HAM and RALOMO will have one minister each. Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony are in full swing, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend.
