Mangaluru, Nov 17: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy has invited applications for the Book Awards 2025 and Honorary Awards 2025, recognising outstanding contributions to Konkani literature, art and folklore.

Book Award 2025

Authors and publishers are invited to submit works published between January 1 and December 31, 2025 in the following categories:

Konkani poetry

Konkani short stories or novels

Translated works into Konkani (priority category) or articles/research/critical studies

Applicants must send four copies of the submitted book along with their application.

The Book Award includes Rs 25,000 honorarium, a shawl, memento, garland, certificate, and phalatambool.

Honorary Award 2025

Applications are also invited for the Lifetime Achievement–based Honorary
