A Bangladesh court has sentenced ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina to death after finding her guilty of crimes against humanity.
The verdict, delivered in absentia against Hasina, concluded a months-long trial that found her guilty of ordering a deadly crackdown on a student-led uprising in mid-2024.
