PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles don’t mind that it’s looked ugly. Over the last seven days, the defending Super Bowl champs have strengthened their push for the NFC’s No. 1 seed.
The Eagles are 8-2 and atop the NFC, following up their Monday night win over the Green Bay Packers with a Sunday night victory over the Detroit Lions.
According to FanDuel , Philadelphia has the best betting odds (-130) to secure the No. 1 overall seed — and the first-round bye and home-field advantage that come with it.
Statistical projections favor the Eagles, as well. Philadelphia has a 50% chance to get the No. 1 seed, according to The Athletic’s projection model.
The next closest teams? The Los Angeles Rams (37%), Seattle Seahawks (6%) and San Francisco 49ers (2%).
