In recognition of National Memory Screening Day, Texas Tech Physicians Internal Medicine, in partnership with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Garrison Institute on Aging, offered free, confidential memory screenings for members of the Panhandle residents.
The event began Friday, Nov. 14 with an opening ceremony and remarks and a city proclamation from Amarillo Mayor Cole Stanley and TTUHSC School of Medicine Regional Dean Brian Weis, M.D. Free screenings were available throughout the day until 1 p.m.
