According to Chris Sharman – who has worked in the leisure industry since 1995 and founded Kidztivity in 2010 – we’re at a “worrying turning point” as far as childhood sport participation is concerned.
And it’s not just down to screen time or lack of school funding.
According to Sport England , less than half (47.8%) of children are meeting the recommended guidelines of taking part in an average of 60 minutes or more of sport and physical activity every day.
