PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — RIDOT has reopened lanes on I-95 after completing the decommissioning of a bridge in Providence for the day.
Route 4 South is back open after bridge demolition work wrapped up on the South County Trail structure.
The work will resume at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday, shutting down the lanes again.
RIDOT will also put alternating one-way traffic in place on Potter Street in East Providence Monday.
This will be to collect soil samples related to the new Washington Bridge design.
