India and the United States are close to finalising the first tranche of their proposed Bilateral Trade Agreement, which focuses on resolving reciprocal tariff issues. Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal said negotiations remain active as both sides work towards a long-term pact to lift bilateral trade to USD 500 billion by 2030.
