New Delhi: Olympian Gurpreet Singh bagged the silver medal in the men’s 25m Centre Fire Pistol event at the ISSF World Championships 2025 on Monday, November 17. Gurpreet shot 288-8x (95,97,96) in the precision stage and scored 296-10x (98,99,99) in the rapid stage to grab the second spot on the podium.
Ukraine’s Pavlo Korostylov won the elusive gold medal, while Yann Pierre Louis Fridrici of France bagged the bronze medal in the men’s 25m Centre Fire Pistol event. Gurpreet bagged his second medal at the ISSF World Championships, having won a silver medal in the 25m Standard Pistol event at the 2018 edition of the tournament.
Sahil Chaudhary, who was the other Indian in the fray in the men’s 25m Centre Fire Pistol event, failed to win a medal as he finished 28th with a total score of 56
