New Delhi: MP Police on Monday said they arrested the younger brother of Al-Falah University’s founder in connection with alleged cheating and fraud cases registered 25 years ago.
Police said Hamood Siddiqui was absconding for over two decades and was arrested from Hyderabad Sunday.
Al-Falah University came into the spotlight after investigators said at least three Kashmiri doctors of its medical college were involved in planning and carrying out the 10 November blast near Red Fort in Delhi. One of them was the alleged suicide bomber, and two others – now in custody – are suspected members of the terror module linked to banned outfits Jaish-e-Mohammad and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind.
