The Dallas Cowboys return to action after a bye with a 3-5-1 record and a season that might not be salvageable. But it won’t be for lack of trying. Dallas traded for linebacker Logan Wilson and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams right before the deadline in an effort to bolster an underperforming defense. They are also getting injured players back in the form of linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Shavon Revel Jr.
They will be taking on the 2-7 Las Vegas Raiders, a team that has struggled all season long. If the Cowboys want to keep a flicker of hope alive for a playoff push, they have to win on the road on Monday night. They are favored, but the Cowboys inconsistency keeps fans from truly believing in this team.
