We've got a system moving in that will bring us some much-needed rain starting tonight. Significant cloud cover will build throughout today, especially this afternoon, and showers are expected to kick off late tonight and continue into Tuesday morning.

We're anticipating the rain to be all liquid for most areas, with temperatures expected to stay well above freezing, so any brief wintry mix at the very onset won't be a travel concern.

As we move into Tuesday, the bulk of the organized rain should push east, but we could see some drizzle lingering, potentially into Tuesday afternoon, thanks to a thick cloud deck, which will also keep temperatures quite cool and fairly flat throughout the day, likely stuck in the upper 30s to low 40s for highs.
