Jasir Bilal Wani, alias Danish and a resident of Kashmir, was arrested from Srinagar by an NIA team that was in the Valley in connection with the Delhi bomb blast case that killed at least 14 people last week.

The NIA’s initial probe revealed that Jasir had allegedly provided technical support for terror attacks by modifying drones and attempting to make rockets in the run-up to the deadly car bomb blast near Red Fort.

The accused, a resident of Qazigund in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, was an active co-conspirator behind the attack and had worked closely with the terrorist, Umar un Nabi, to plan the terror carnage.
