Srinagar- Dr. Rafi Ahmed Jan has become the first doctor from Jammu and Kashmir to be awarded the Fellowship of the Indian Society of Chest Physicians. The honour was conferred during the National Conference on Pulmonary Diseases (NAPCON) held in Jaipur.
The recognition brings national attention to both Dr. Jan and the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag, where he currently serves as Professor.
