The Vanderburgh Humane Society was awarded a $35,000 grant from the Evansville Endowment Fund.

They are a supporting organization of the Community Foundation Alliance.

Funding is focused on capital projects for non-profits serving within the City of Evansville.

The money will go towards replacing two 22-year-old boilers to provide heat and hot water for the large facility.
