Flags have been at half-staff for nearly two weeks in honor of former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, who died Nov. 3.

They will remain lowered until Thursday, Nov. 20, which is when Cheney's funeral was set to be held at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

The former politician and businessman died at age 84 on Nov. 3 while surrounded by family, his relatives reported. Cheney died of complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease, his family said.
