South Africa says it will block the arrival of any further flights of Palestinians from Gaza , denouncing the flights as an orchestrated operation of ethnic cleansing from Palestinian territories.

Two chartered flights, with hundreds of Palestinians on board, have arrived in South Africa in recent weeks. The latest flight, carrying 153 Palestinians from Gaza, triggered an uproar last Thursday when the passengers were kept on the plane for 12 hours at Johannesburg’s international airport because of issues with their paperwork.
