Hookey, who signed a two-year American Hockey League contract with the Belleville Senators this past summer, scored his first-career goal on Nov. 14 as the Senators topped the Utica Comets 4-3 on the road. Article content Article content

The goal, a tipped shot in front of the net in the third period, was assisted on by former OHLers Jorian Donovan and Jamieson Rees, and tied the game, 2-2.

Hookey, 21, now has a goal and two assists in 13 games with the Senators.

Last season, the Sarnia product skated in 68 games with the Owen Sound Attack. He recorded 70 points (34 goals, 36 assists). He also tacked on three points (one goal, two assists) over four OHL playoff games. Artic
