Nintendo and Sony revealed the first looks at the upcoming live-action Legend of Zelda film on Monday.

Zelda fans got an early chance to see how Bo Bragason looks as Princess Zelda and how Benjamin Evan Ainsworth looks as Link in the long-awaited adaptation of Nintendo's classic video game series.

Wes Ball (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the Maze Runner films) is directing the first-ever Zelda film for a May 7, 2027, release. Severance standout Dichen Lachman co-stars as Impa.

While we've still got a ways to go until the Zelda film gets here, this is a promising first look.

We're counting down the days until we finally get a Legend of Zelda film.

Who is in the Legend of Zelda cast?

Just Bragason, Ainsworth and Lachman for now. More cast members should be announced soon.
