A woman who snapped up a vintage camera from a charity shop has launched an appeal to track down its previous owner after discovering it had an undeveloped film inside. Tilda Butterworth picked up the Olympus analogue camera in Hackney, East London, and was amazed to find it contained 10 photographs that appeared to date back decades .
"I found an Olympus camera in a charity shop in East London with a half-used roll of film in it," she revealed in a caption accompanying a TikTok post featuring all the discovered photographs. Hoping her post would gain traction on the platform, she urged fellow users to share it, pleading: "Help me find the people in these photographs."
