National People’s Party (NPP) working president and cabinet minister Marcuise N Marak expressed confidence that the NPP’s development track record under Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma will resonate with voters in the upcoming elections to the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) especially after the decline of the Congress wave post‑Bihar elections.
