The Yankees are set to bring back one of their versatile arms from last season. Lefty Ryan Yarbrough , who made eight starts and 11 relief appearances with the 2025 Yanks, has agreed to a one-year free agent deal to return to the club, according to a report by FanSided's Robert Murray on Monday morning. The club has not confirmed the deal.

Yarbrough, who will turn 34 on Dec. 31, has posted a 4.22 ERA across eight Major League seasons, making 76 starts among his 215 appearances. The southpaw missed more than two months of this past season with a right oblique strain, but when healthy, he limited left-handed batters to a .198 average and .360 slugging percentage.
