Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) raised concerns Sunday that the Justice Department’s new probe into Jeffrey Epstein’s past ties with Democrats could interfere with Congress’s effort to mandate the full release of the files related to the convicted sex offender.

“The president’s been saying this is a hoax. He’s been saying that for months. Well, he’s just now decided to investigate a hoax, if it’s a hoax,” Massie said on ABC News’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos.
