POWDERSVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Bon Secours St. Francis Health System is breaking ground on a new medical campus in Powdersville on Friday.

Officials said the Bon Secours Powdersville Medical Center will expand access to care for residents in northeastern Anderson County and surrounding communities. The campus will include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building offering primary and specialty care, as well as a separate, freestanding emergency department.

The new campus is designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of the Powdersville area and will bring a wide range of services closer to home for residents.

The groundbreaking will take place on Friday at 12 p.m. at 104 Roe Road in Greenville.
