JONESBORO — A Gun Safety Awareness program is scheduled Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. in the CCPS Café, 1098 Fifth Ave., Jonesboro.

Free gun locks and other resources will be distributed as supplies last.

Local school system, public safety and court leaders will discuss gun safety laws, gun safety locks, gun safety at home school safety and more.

Clayton County Board of Education member Mary Baker will host the program which features Clayton County Public Schools Safety and Security Chief Reynard Walker, Clayton County District Attorney Tasha Mosley, Clayton County Police Chief Kevin Roberts and Packing Pretty Firearms LLC owner Daphne Unman.
