SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres have signed left-handed pitcher Kyle Hart to a one-year contract through the 2026 season with a club option for 2027, President of Baseball Operations and General Manager A.J. Preller announced today.
Hart, 32, spent 2025 with San Diego and posted a 3-3 record with a 5.86 ERA (28 ER, 43.0 IP), 1.19 WHIP and .233 opponents’ average across 20 appearances (six starts). The left-hander opened the 2025 campaign as the Padres’ No. 5 starter and the club went 3-0 across his first three starts from March 31-April 12.
