Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has dismissed allegations in a Rs 30 crore fraud case filed by Dr Ajay Murdia, founder of Indira IVF, calling the complaint “completely misleading.” The FIR was lodged at Bhupalpura police station, naming Bhatt, his wife Shwetambari Bhatt, and seven others.
According to the FIR, the dispute arises from a film project pitched to Dr Murdia as a biopic inspired by his late wife’s life. The complaint alleges that Bhatt and his team promised profits of nearly Rs 200 crore and encouraged heavy investment. It claims that over ?30 crore was allegedly misused under the pretext of developing the film.
