Another sighting of courage as a Republican stands up to Trump Ed Palm

Ihereby nominate Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky for the Abdiel Profile in Moral Courage Award. If you have ever read Milton’s “Paradise Lost” — and everybody should — you know that the Seraph Abdiel was the only member of Satan’s band of rebel angels to refuse to wage war against God. He, in effect, was a Sixties precursor. He might as well have been saying, “Hell no! I won’t go!” For which he suffered “the scorn of revolted multitudes.”
