Today, on November 17, the nominees for The Game Awards 2025 are being unveiled live. Last year, Astro Bot took home the overall Game of the Year crown, as well as Best Game Direction, Best Family Game, and Best Action/Adventure Game. Balatro and Metaphor: ReFantazio were big winners as well, and are still often talked about to this day.

As revealed by TGA on YouTube , the nominees are pouring out in multiple categories. Based on fan hype, it looks like Expedition 33, Hades 2, and Silksong are going to be battling it out on several fronts, including Game of the Year.
