Parents are being warned to throw away this colorful unicorn toy immediately

Some colorful dolls and unicorns sold on Amazon have been recalled because the battery in the unicorn could be deadly if swallowed by children.

The Bettina doll with Magic Light Unicorn sets “violate the mandatory standard for toys” because the battery compartment of the unicorn can be easily accessed by children.

“When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death,” according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The 12-inch doll is wearing a pink dress. The unicorn is white with multi-colored hair and a pink saddle. The unicorn is 10 inches long and 9.5 inches tall. There is a pink toy hairbrush included with the set.
