A childhood actor you may remember from a classic cartoon is coming to Bellis Fair mall later this month for a meet-and-greet event.
Melanie Kohn was the voice of Lucy van Pelt for classic Peanuts cartoons from 1974-77, known for her sassy character who offers “Psychiatric Help” for 5 cents to her friends such as Charlie Brown.
Kohn voiced the character in Peanuts classics such as “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown,” “Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown,” and “It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown,” according to a post on Bellis Fair’s Facebook profile.
Kohn will be at the Bellis Fair mall from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 28 and Nov. 29, near Crazy Jumpers and the Bellingham Public Library in suite 614.
A variety of memorabilia, autographs and photo opportunities will be available for purchase.
