The owners behind one of the city's most highly regarded food spots have confirmed they are set to open a second spot in the southside .

Colin Campbell and Jake Martell, who currently own Sylvan on Woodlands Road in the west end, confirmed via a social media post they are launching an exciting new wine shop on Sinclair Drive in Battlefield.

Considered to be one of the best spots in the city for vegetarian food and expertly curated wines, Sylvan is often one of the first names on the lips of any visiting foodies looking to try out Glasgow's best spots.

Now, with the news they are heading south of the river, fans in the area won't have to travel far to enjoy their wine expertise with the new shop and a possible bar on the way.
