Wet weather that began late last week and continued over the weekend with bursts of heavy rain that added to significant rainfall totals in Los Angeles County

The second wave of a mid-November storm that arrived last week in Southern California brought hours of rain Friday and Saturday for much of the region. Scattered showers continued into Sunday and early Monday, boosting the month's rainfall totals on the front end of California's wet season.

The wettest November on record was 1985 when downtown LA received 2.43 inches of rain. .
