Predator: Badlands is undoubtedly one of the best movies of 2025. The marvelous reception from fans and critics means many more installments will come in the next few years. Nine films have been made so far, each of which centers on conflicts between humans (or other species) with technologically advanced aliens that hunt other life forms for sport. These extraterrestrials — known as Predators in the films and, alternatively, as Yautja, Skin Thieves, and Hish-Qu-Ten in other universe media — are often depicted as the most formidable threats that the protagonists ever encountered.
