Properties on Bingham Road are among those affected by the power cut

More than 600 homes in Radcliffe-on-Trent have been left without power due to an incident.

National Grid has announced 609 properties were without power on Monday afternoon (November 17), with the high voltage incident first reported just before 5pm.

The affected properties are all in the NG12 postcode area and engineers were working to resolve the issue.

A statement released by National Grid read: "We're working to restore power to your area. We became aware of this power cut at 4:56pm this afternoon and immediately began work to restore your supply.

"We understand how disruptive this is and sincerely apologise for the impact on your day.

"Our engineers are working to get your power back on as quickly as poss
