ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A woman who was shot in the head in the parking lot of a Loganville CVS has died, according to city officials.

On Friday afternoon, Loganville police responded to a person shot outside the CVS, located off Highway 78 and Conyers Road, where they found a woman with a gunshot wound to her head.

She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

On Sunday, city officials said the woman, identified as 62-year-old Kimberly Whaley of Loganville, died at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
