33-year-old Samanvitha Dhareshwar, an Indian-origin woman living in Sydney, was killed in a car crash at Hornsby as she was walking with her husband and their three-year-old son. She was eight months pregnant and both the mother and the unborn child died following the crash. According to Australian media reports, a Kia car slowed down to let them walk when it was hit from behind by a speeding BMW being driven by 19-year-old Aaron Papazoglu. Both the Kia driver and the BMW driver were taken for mandatory testing and Papazoglu was arrested and charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, negligent driving occasioning death, and causing the loss of a foetus. Papazoglu has no previous criminal or driving offences and was not under the influence of any kind of drugs. His lawyer said
