A case of infant botulism was reported in Kentucky as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention continue to investigate the multi-state outbreak following the recall of ByHeart baby formula, according to the CDC .
No cases have been reported in Jefferson County, Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness officials said in a Nov. 14 newsletter .
The Kentucky case comes after ByHeart announced a voluntary recall of some of its products Nov. 8, according to the FDA . ByHeart expanded its recall Nov. 11 to include all ByHeart formula nationwide.
