Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: An 18-year-old boy, Alan from Rajaji Nagar, died on Monday in Thiruvananthapuram after being stabbed near the Thycaud temple in an incident linked to earlier enmity. One person has been taken into custody in connection with the killing.

Football quarrel triggers confrontation

The chain of events began with a dispute among Model School students who were playing football. The initial quarrel involved groups of children from Jagathy and Chengalchoola.

As tensions rose, Alan was reportedly summoned to the spot to act as a mediator. He reached the location and began speaking to the students.
