The weight-loss drugs slow the rate at which alcohol enters the bloodstream, meaning it can take longer to feel the effects of drinking, research suggests. ‌

Pharmacist and weight-loss expert, Jason Murphy, warned that slimmers may not feel like they are getting drunk and could be tempted to “overindulge” in festive tipples. ‌
