Bristol Bears sign Black Ferns star and 'best player in the world' View 3 Images

Black Ferns star and former World Player of the Year Ruahei Demant will join Bristol Bears on a four-month deal from the end of November.

The versatile Kiwi, who can operate at fly-half and centre, is one of only three players to have won 50 caps for the Black Ferns, scoring 130 points for her country.

The 30-year-old was named the best player in the world in 2022 after co-captaining her side to the 2021 Rugby World Cup title (played in 2022) and was named Player of the Match in their final victory over the Red Roses.
