Walgreens hourly workers will now be required to work on holidays.

The pharmacy store chain is cutting paid vacation time for these workers on major holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Walgreens eliminated six paid holidays for the workers. Bloomberg reported that the move occurred a month after Walgreens was purchased by the private equity firm Sycamore Partners .
